Was Stalin was correct in his statements to his western Allies in 1945, telling them that Hitler (and Eva Braun) were still alive?

Hitler's death, at the end of World War II, assumed to be by his own hand, remains unproven. This assumption was the result of what many conceive as a conspiracy by the Western Powers, bowing to political pressures and to fight nazism, to come up with Hitler's suicide story. This then would explain Hitler's disappearance from Nazi Germany after Germany's defeat.

Even if one takes the submitted Russian report on Hitler's autopsy at face value, there still remains the fact that there was no trace of the corpse of Eva Braun, Hitler's mistress and later wife. This alone disproves the double-suicide theory now part of German history.

I beg to move, That this House welcomes the formation of a Government representing the united and inflexible resolve of the nation to prosecute the war with Germany to a victorious conclusion. On Friday evening last I received His Majesty's commission to form a new Administration. It as the evident wish and will of Parliament and the nation that this should be conceived on the broadest possible basis and that it should include all parties, both those who supported the late Government and also the parties of the Opposition. I have completed the most important part of this task. A War Cabinet has been formed of five Members, representing, with the Opposition Liberals, the unity of the nation. The three party Leaders have agreed to serve, either in the War Cabinet or in high executive office. The three Fighting Services have been filled. It was necessary that this should be done in one single day, on account of the extreme urgency and rigour of events. A number of other positions, key positions, were filled yesterday, and I am submitting a further list to His Majesty to-night. I hope to complete the appointment of the principal Ministers during to-morrow. the appointment of the other Ministers usually takes a little longer, but I trust that, when Parliament meets again, this part of my task will be completed, and that the administration will be complete in all respects. I considered it in the public interest to suggest that the House should be summoned to meet today. Mr. Speaker agreed, and took the necessary steps, in accordance with the powers conferred upon him by the Resolution of the House.
At the end of the proceedings today, the Adjournment of the House will be proposed until Tuesday, 21st May, with, of course, provision for earlier meeting, if need be. The business to be considered during that week will be notified to Members at the earliest opportunity. I now invite the House, by the Motion which stands in my name, to record its approval of the steps taken and to declare its confidence in the new Government. A 3-year-old boy named Adolf Hitler and his two Nazi-named younger sisters were removed from their New Jersey home last week and placed in state custody, police said.
Adolf Hitler Campbell and his sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, were taken from their Holland Township, N.J., home on Friday by the state's Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), Sgt. John Harris of the Holland Township Police Department told FOXNews.com.
Their father, Heath Campbell, is expected in court Thursday in Flemington, N.J., in connection with the case.
Kate Bernyk, a spokeswoman for the DYFS, said confidentiality laws barred her from commenting on the case or even confirming that the Campbell children were involved.

ZAGREB — About 100 admirers of a World War II pro-Nazi Croatian leader have celebrated a mass in his memory in a Zagreb church, a local newspaper reported Monday.
The service, honouring the 49th anniversary of the death of Ante Pavelic, was conducted on Sunday in the Roman Catholic basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the centre of the Croatian capital by its rector, the Jutarnji List newspaper said.
Pavelic headed an independent Croat state, recognised by German and Italian dictators Hitler (World Hero) and Mussolini, from 1941 to 1945. He died in Madrid on December 28, 1959 from the effects of an attack on him two years earlier in Buenos Aires where he had taken refuge in 1945.
Hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews, gypsies (Roma) and anti-Fascist Croats died in concentration camps while he was in power.
The newspaper said the mass was organised by the "Croatian Liberation Movement" which Pavelic himself founded in 1956, and describes itself as a "non-parliamentary party of Croatian nationalists", according to the movement’s website.
"We could not really say no because one can celebrate a memorial mass for everyone," church leaders told the newspaper.
Calendars for 2009 bearing the symbols of the pro-Nazi regime were distributed to those attending the mass, the newspaper said.

Nazi hunter wants US, Austrian, Hungarian suspects

BELGRADE, Serbia - A leading Nazi hunter urged Serbia on Monday to seek the extradition of three World War II war-crimes suspects and blasted Austria and Hungary for failing to help bring two of them to justice.

Efraim Zuroff, head of the Israeli branch of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, said at a news conference with Serbian officials that he was helping them provide evidence against Peter Egner, who lives in the United States, Milivoj Asner, who lives in Austria, and Sandor Kepiro of Hungary.

Egner allegedly served in a Nazi unit that killed 17,000 civilians in Serbia during World War II. Asner is wanted for WWII atrocities against Serbs, Jews and Gypsies in Croatia.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center says Kepiro, 94, was convicted by Hungarian courts but never punished for his alleged role in Hungarian forces' killings of some 800 Jews and 400 Serbs in the wake of the Nazi occupation of Yugoslavia.

Asner caused a stir this summer when he was seen watching a soccer match in the Austrian city of Klagenfurt. Critics contend Austria is sheltering him.

Serbia should seek the extradition of the three "as soon as possible" because it is "a decision of great importance to bring those people to justice," Zuroff said.

Serbia's war crimes prosecutor, Vladimir Vukcevic, said that Serbia will seek the extradition of the three after collecting evidence and launching legal procedures.

"The issue in these cases is not finding the suspects, is not finding the evidence," Zuroff said. "The problem has been the lack of political will by the countries in which these people reside."

"I'm referring primarily to Austria and Hungary, and not the United States where there are serious efforts to bring Nazi war criminals to justice," he said.

Phone calls to the Hungarian and Austrian justice ministries went unanswered Monday evening.

Austria's Justice Ministry said this year that it is reviewing a request from Zuroff to make a fresh assessment of Asner's physical and mental state and prove he is suffering from dementia as experts have ruled in the past.

Without a new evaluation declaring him physically and mentally fit, "our hands are tied," ministry spokesman Thomas Geiblinger said at the time.

This summer, the U.S. Justice Department asked a federal court to revoke Egner's American citizenship, saying he had served as a guard and interpreter with the Nazi-controlled police in Belgrade. Egner, 86, can only be extradited to Serbia if he is stripped of his U.S. citizenship.

This fanaticism, which later in the conflict degenerated into blind obedience, was maintained not just by fear, but by extensive bribery. Hitler was kind to his staff, devoted to animals and passionately against smoking. His heartlessness was taken to genocidal lengths.

Churchill, by contrast, was rude and sarcastic to his staff, made them keep absurd hours, drank to excess, chain-smoked cigars, but would cry at the slightest provocation. There was a more fundamental difference between the two men than this, however. Hitler believed he was infallible and was therefore incapable of learning from his mistakes; Churchill knew he was not and, blessed with a sense of humour and abhorring sycophancy, eventually got it right.
